What this screen is for
This is the summary view of the Manufacturing module. Work orders are broken down by status as bars, with the count and share for each and the total beneath. The production summary gives total produced, total rejected, good output and the yield rate those imply. Below them sits a list of recent work orders with their product, status, progress and start date, each opening on its own record.
When to use it
Open it at the start of the day or shift to see where production stands before going into detail. The yield figure is the quickest read on whether rejects are running higher than they should.
What you see on this screen
Five cards: Active BOMs, WOs In Progress, Units Produced, Pending Transfers and Challans Sent.
Work Order Status breaks the orders down as bars — Draft, Planned, In Progress, Completed and Cancelled — each with its count and share, and the total stated beneath.
Production Summary gives four figures:
- Total Produced — units recorded as made
- Total Rejected — units recorded as rejects
- Good Output — produced less rejected
- Yield Rate — good output as a percentage of what was produced
Recent Work Orders lists WO Number, Product, Status, Progress and Start Date, each row opening the order. Quick Actions links straight to creating a BOM, work order, production entry, stock transfer or delivery challan. Top Products by Production closes the screen with Product, Units Produced and Total Cost.
Filters and actions
There are no filters — the dashboard describes the position as it stands. View All beside each panel opens the full list behind it.
Status values
- Draft — being prepared
- Planned — scheduled but not started
- In Progress — being worked on
- Completed — finished
- Cancelled — abandoned
