Accounts

The contacts who have become customers, with how many deals each holds, the value won and the value still open, and when they last did business.

What this screen is for

An account is a contact that has converted into a customer. Three tiles count the total accounts, the total value won from them and how many are new this month. The table lists each account with its email and phone, the number of deals, the value won, the value still open, and the date of its last deal. A search box finds one by name, company or email, and each row opens the underlying contact record.

Contacts appear here automatically once they are marked as customers, so there is nothing to create on this screen.

When to use it

Use it when reviewing your existing customer base rather than your pipeline — which accounts have bought most, and which have gone quiet.

What you see on this screen

Three tiles head the page: Total Accounts, Won Value and New This Month.

  • Account — the company name, or the person's name where no company is recorded.
  • Contact — the email, with a phone number beneath.
  • Deals — how many deals the account holds.
  • Won — the value of deals in a stage marked as won.
  • Open — the value still in play, in stages marked neither won nor lost.
  • Last Activity — the date of the account's most recent deal, or a dash.
  • View — opens the contact record behind the account.

Filters and actions

One search box, over name, company and email. There is nothing to create, import or export here, and no filters or sort: an account appears by itself once a contact is marked as a customer.

Read Won against Last Activity rather than on its own. A large won figure with a date some way back is a customer who used to buy, which is a different conversation from one who never has.
