Marketing Dashboard

An overview of campaign activity across email, SMS and WhatsApp for a date range you choose, with each figure compared against the preceding period and any problems raised as alerts.

What this screen is for

Pick a date range from the presets and the whole page reports on it. The comparison period is named in words beneath, along with a caveat when the two windows cannot be the same length, so no arrow on the page is unexplained. Cards break totals down by channel. Alerts appear above the figures when something needs attention, each with a link to where it can be fixed. From the header you can start a new email, SMS or WhatsApp campaign, or a new template.

When to use it

This is the first place to look when you want the state of marketing as a whole rather than one channel, and the alerts are the fastest route to whatever is currently blocking sends.

What you see on this screen

Four headline cards: Total Campaigns, Messages Sent (with how many were delivered), Delivery Rate - stated as a proportion of recipients attempted across all channels, not of those that succeeded - and Failed, which separates messages that did not arrive from those still awaiting a delivery report.

Messages over time charts sent, delivered and failures by channel, and states its own rules: each campaign sits on the day it was created rather than the day its messages went out, which is the same scope as the cards, and the day boundary is cut in the named timezone. Where the chart cannot be reconciled with the cards it is withheld rather than drawn, and the data table shows exactly what the figures were. Show data table prints the same numbers as a table.

Three per-channel panels follow. Email Campaigns gives Sent, Delivered, Open Rate and Click Rate. SMS Campaigns gives Sent, Delivered, Delivery Rate and Failed. WhatsApp Campaigns gives Sent, Delivered, Read Rate and Failed.

Recent Campaigns lists the ten most recently created in the window, with columns for Campaign, Channel, Status, Recipients, Delivered, Engagement and Date. Engagement means opens for email and reads for WhatsApp; plain SMS carries no engagement signal, so it reads as a dash.

Filters and actions

The date range presets are 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, This month, Last month and All time. Chips filter the chart by channel. The Recent Campaigns table sorts by campaign, status, recipients, delivered and date. The header offers New Template and New Campaign, the latter branching to Email, SMS or WhatsApp.
