What this screen is for
This is the Warranty Claims screen opened with the "with manufacturer" filter already applied. It shows only claims that have been submitted and are waiting on the manufacturer's decision, with the number of days each has been with them highlighted as it grows. Everything else on the screen behaves the same: the same search, the same counters, and the same tabs if you want to widen the view.
When to use it
Use it as your chase list. A claim that has been out for weeks with no response is the one to ring about, and this view puts those in front of you without filtering by hand.
What you see on this screen
Exactly the Warranty Claims screen, with the With manufacturer tab already highlighted. The same three counters sit at the top, and the same five columns run across the table: Claim, Customer / Vehicle, Tyre, Status and With maker.
The column that matters here is With maker, which counts the days since the claim was sent. It turns amber once a claim has been out a fortnight or so, and red once it has been out considerably longer, so the list itself tells you which to ring about first.
The status cell also carries a second line where relevant: Tyre already replaced, meaning the shop has covered the customer and is out of pocket until this settles, or Customer waiting, meaning the replacement is being held until the manufacturer decides.
Filters and actions
The view is the With manufacturer tab; the other three tabs, All claims, Open and Shop out of pocket, widen or change it. The search box works the same and is preserved when you switch tabs, so you can narrow to one customer and then move between views.
Status values
This view holds only claims at sent or under_review that have not yet been resolved. The moment a claim reaches approved, rejected or closed, or is otherwise settled, it drops out of the list, which is what makes it usable as a chase list.
