What this screen is for
An assessment is a scored checklist an instructor completes about a student after a session. This screen lists all of them, showing who was assessed, by whom, against which template, on what date, and whether the student was marked test-ready. Filters narrow the list to a particular student, instructor or template, and a search box covers the same ground.
When to use it
Use it to find a particular assessment, to review an instructor's recent scoring, or to see how often students are being assessed. To follow one student over time rather than browse individual records, use Student Progress.
What you see on this screen
The table has these columns:
- Date — when the assessment was recorded
- Student — who was assessed
- Instructor — who assessed them
- Template — the checklist used
- Rating — the overall score, shown out of five, or a dash where none was recorded
- Test Ready — Yes or No
- Actions
A line beneath the table shows the range on display out of the total. Where nothing matches, it reads "No assessments found."
Filters and actions
A search box covers the same ground as the filters. Filters opens a panel with four dropdowns: Student (All Students), Instructor (All Instructors), Template (All Templates) and Test Ready, which offers All, Yes and No. Reset clears them.
Record Assessment creates a new one, for users allowed to. Individual rows open the assessment in full.
Status values
There is no status on an assessment. Test Ready is the one flag it carries, set by the instructor when recording it, and it is a simple yes or no.
