What this screen is for
A referral program defines the reward on offer. Each card shows the program name and whether it is active, its description, the reward type, what the referrer receives, what the person referred receives, and how many referral codes belong to it. Where a program is time-limited, its start and end dates appear beneath. A codes button opens the codes issued under that program.
When to use it
Set a program up before promoting a referral offer, since referrals are judged and rewarded against it. Edit one when the reward changes, and switch it inactive when the offer ends rather than deleting it, so past referrals keep the terms they were made under.
What you see on this screen
Each program is a card:
- Program name with an Active or Inactive pill.
- Description — what the offer is.
- Type — the kind of reward.
- Referrer — what the person making the referral receives.
- Referee — what the person referred receives.
- Codes — how many referral codes have been issued under it.
- From and Until dates where the program is time-limited.
- A Codes button and an edit pencil.
Filters and actions
No filters or search; programs are few. New Program takes a name, a description, a Reward Type, the two reward amounts, an optional cap on referrals per customer, a validity in days, a minimum purchase amount, start and end dates, and an Active tick.
Codes opens the codes for that program. Search for a customer, generate a code for them, and copy it to hand over. The list beneath shows every code issued, who holds it, and how many times it has been used against its limit.
Status values
The four reward types:
- Discount % — a percentage off.
- Fixed Discount — a set amount off.
- Account Credit — credit added to the account.
- Free Session — a number of free sessions.
