What this screen is for
This report follows the revenue side of each project. Tiles at the top give the total invoiced with the number of invoices, the amount collected with a collection rate, the amount still pending, and the amount overdue. The table repeats those figures per project alongside the client, so you can see which projects are billing well and which are billing but not collecting.
A date range and an invoice status filter the report, and it can be printed.
When to use it
Use it when chasing payment, and when you need to explain the gap between what a project has earned on paper and what has reached the bank.
What you see on this screen
- Project — the name, with its code and how many invoices it holds.
- Customer — the client billed.
- Invoiced — the total raised in the period.
- Collected — the total of invoices marked as fully paid.
- Pending — invoices not yet fully paid, counted at their full value.
- Overdue — invoices not fully paid whose due date has passed.
- Collection — collected as a percentage of invoiced, with a bar.
Read Pending and Overdue as two questions about the same invoices rather than two separate pots: an unpaid invoice past its date is counted in both. A part-paid invoice sits in Pending at its whole value and contributes nothing to Collected, so Collection is a measure of invoices settled in full.
Projects with no invoices in the period are left out entirely.
Filters and actions
From Date and To Date set the period, which starts as the current month, and a status list narrows it to projects of one status. Reset returns to the defaults, and Print Report is the only output.
