What this screen is for
Where your bookings record an outcome — a test taken and passed or failed — this report totals them. For the date range you choose it gives the overall pass rate, the number passed, the number failed and the total recorded, then breaks the same figures down by instructor with each one's pass rate.
When to use it
Use it when reviewing results over a period, comparing instructors, or preparing figures for a body that asks for them. The report covers outcomes that have been recorded against bookings, so a period showing nothing usually means results have not been entered rather than that none occurred.
What you see on this screen
The page description names which booking types carry an outcome, so you can see what the report is counting.
Four figures head it:
- Pass rate — passes as a percentage of everything recorded in the period
- Passed — how many passes were recorded
- Failed — how many failures were recorded
- Total recorded — the two added together, which is the number of bookings that carry an outcome at all
By instructor then repeats the same arithmetic per person:
- Instructor — whose results these are
- Passed — their passes in the period
- Failed — their failures
- Total — their recorded outcomes
- Pass rate — their passes as a percentage of their total
Where nothing has been recorded in the period, the table says so rather than showing an empty grid.
Filters and actions
From and To dates set the range, with Apply and Reset. Bookings in the header returns to the bookings list. Nothing on this screen records an outcome — that is done on the booking itself.
