Delayed Charges

Track work or costs incurred for a customer that you have not billed yet, then pull them into an invoice when it is time to charge.

What this screen is for

A delayed charge is something a customer owes you but has not been invoiced for yet — a callout, an extra delivery, materials used on a job. Recording it here means it is captured when it happens rather than remembered at month end.

When to use it

Use it wherever billing lags the work. The charge waits until you raise the invoice it belongs on, so nothing chargeable is quietly lost between the job and the bill.
