Chat History

Your past chat conversations for the company you are currently in, most recent first. It shows only your own sessions, and only general chats — those attached to a ticket live on the ticket.

What this screen is for

Your past chat conversations, for the company you are currently working in, most recent first. It shows only your own sessions, and only general chats: a conversation that was raised against a support ticket lives on that ticket rather than appearing here.

When to use it

Use it to find something you were told in a chat and now want to act on or quote back. If a conversation you clearly remember is not in the list, the likely explanation is that it belonged to a ticket, and My Tickets is where to look for it.

What you see on this screen

Three cards open the page: Total Sessions, Active Sessions and Ended Sessions.

The table lists your conversations, newest first:

  • Session ID — the conversation's own reference.
  • User — who held the conversation, with their email beneath. Since this screen shows only your own sessions, it will be you.
  • Status — Active or Ended; see below.
  • Started — when the conversation opened.
  • Ended — when it closed, or a dash where it is still open.
  • ActionsView Chat opens the conversation and its messages.

Opening a session shows the messages themselves, so a figure or an instruction you were given can be read back exactly as it was written.

Filters and actions

A search box matches by user name, email or ticket. Beyond that there is nothing to configure: the list is already scoped to you and to the company you are working in.

Two things narrow what appears here, and both are deliberate. Conversations held by colleagues are not shown — this is your own history, not the company's. And conversations raised against a support ticket are excluded, because they belong with the ticket, where the rest of that request's history lives.

Status values

  • Active — the conversation is still open. You can return to it and continue.
  • Ended — the conversation has been closed. The messages remain readable; the thread cannot be continued.
