Payroll Dashboard

The opening view of the Payroll module. Managers see an overview of payroll activity; staff whose login is linked to their own employee record see a personal summary instead.

What this screen is for

This is the landing page of the Payroll module, and it shows one of two things depending on who is looking. If your login is linked to an employee record, you see your own position: today's attendance status with in and out times, this month's salary, your attendance rate with present and late day counts, any pending advances, a six-month salary trend, your recent salary payments and your leave requests. Everyone else sees the company-level overview, with shortcuts to mark attendance and to run payroll.

When to use it

Open it at the start of a payroll task to see where things stand before drilling into a specific screen. If it tells you no employee record is linked to your account, ask whoever manages staff records to connect the two.

What you see on this screen

The company view opens with four tiles:

  • Active Employees — how many people are currently on the books.
  • This Month Payroll — the value of this month's payroll.
  • Pending Payments — how many salary payments are still outstanding.
  • Today's Attendance — today's attendance rate as a percentage.

Below them are the panels:

  • Today's Attendance — how today breaks down across the workforce.
  • Payroll Trend — the last 6 months of payroll value.
  • Recent Salary Payments — the most recent payments, with a link to the full list.
  • Department Distribution — headcount by department.
  • Employment Status — the spread of staff across employment types.
  • Attendance Report — a heat map, with its own period selector.
  • Leave Calendar — leave by day for a week you can step through.
  • New Joiners — people who started this month.
  • Upcoming Birthdays and Work Anniversaries — dates coming up.
  • Salary Advances — recent advances, with a link to the full list.
  • Top Earners This Month — the highest paid this period.
  • Quick Actions — shortcuts to the screens used most often.

The personal view replaces the tiles with Today's Status, This Month Salary, Attendance Rate and Pending Advances, and the panels with My Attendance, My Salary Trend, My Salary Payments and My Leave Requests.
