What this screen is for
This screen holds the forms your website collects information through: enquiries, bookings, sign-ups. Each form is listed with its name and description, how many submissions it has received, and whether it is a draft, published or archived. From a row you can edit the form, preview it, duplicate it, publish or unpublish it, copy the embed code to place it on a page, and view its submissions. Search by name or description and filter by status.
When to use it
Create a form when you need to collect something from visitors, publish it when it is ready, and come back to read submissions. Deleting a form permanently removes it and every submission it has collected, so check the submissions first.
What you see on this screen
Forms are shown as cards rather than a table. Each card carries:
- a colour strip taken from the form's own primary colour
- the form name
- a status pill
- the description, or "No description" where none was written
- the submission count, with a badge counting new ones that nobody has read
- View and Edit buttons, and a menu holding the rest
Where no forms exist, the page reads "No forms yet" and offers to create the first one. Page controls sit beneath the grid.
Filters and actions
Show Filters reveals a Search box matching on name or description, and a Status select offering All Status, Draft, Published and Archived, with Reset to clear both. Create Form starts a new one.
The card menu offers Publish or Unpublish, Duplicate, Preview, Copy Embed Code and Delete. Copying the embed code gives you the snippet to paste into a page on your site.
Deleting opens a confirmation showing the form's name and its submission count, and states plainly that the form and all its submissions are permanently removed.
Status values
A form holds one of three values:
- draft — not live; visitors cannot reach it
- published — live and collecting submissions
- archived — retired, but kept with everything it collected
Publish and unpublish move a form between published and draft only; archiving is set when editing the form. Submissions carry their own state, and the unread badge on a card counts those still marked new.
