What this screen is for
Money that sits in a payment wallet rather than a bank account still belongs in the books. This screen holds those accounts. Each row shows the wallet name, its provider, type, current balance and status, along with whichever identifier applies — a UPI ID, a PayID, a biller code and reference, a phone number or a masked account identifier. Counts and a combined balance sit above, and you can search by wallet name, provider or UPI ID and filter by type and status.
When to use it
Add a wallet here before recording receipts or payments made through it, and come back when a balance needs checking or a wallet is no longer in use.
What you see on this screen
Four cards: Total Wallets, Active, Inactive and Total Balance. The table carries:
- Wallet Details — the wallet name, a Default tag where it is the default wallet, and beneath it whichever identifier the wallet holds: a PayID, a BPAY biller code with its reference, a UPI ID, a phone number, or a masked account identifier
- Provider — the payment provider the wallet belongs to
- Type — UPI, PayID, BPAY, Digital Wallet, Payment App, Cryptocurrency or Other; the types offered when adding one follow your company's country
- Balance — the wallet's current balance as the books hold it
- Status — Active or Inactive
- Actions — view, edit, activate or deactivate, and delete; the last two are hidden on the default wallet
Filters and actions
Search by wallet name, provider, UPI ID narrows the list, and All Wallet Types and All Status filter it. The footer sets 10, 25, 50 or 100 rows per page. Add Digital Wallet in the header creates one; deleting asks you to confirm and names the wallet and provider first.
Status values
- Active — available for recording receipts and payments
- Inactive — kept with its history but no longer offered
