Weekly Timesheet

One week of logged time laid out as a grid, with a row per project, a column per day, and totals down each day and across each project.

What this screen is for

This lays a single week out as a grid. Projects run down the left, the seven days run across the top with today highlighted, and each cell holds the hours booked to that project on that day. A total column closes each row and a daily total closes each column, with a grand total in the corner.

Arrows move to the previous or next week and a button returns you to the current one. You can narrow the grid to one project, or to one team member, before reading it.

When to use it

Use it for the weekly check that everybody has booked their time and that the days add up, which is far quicker to see here than in a flat list.

What you see on this screen

  • Project — one row per project, down the left.
  • A column per day — headed with the weekday and date, with today's column highlighted. Each cell holds the hours booked to that project on that day, written as 8h or 8h 30m, with a dash where nothing was logged.
  • Total — the last column, totalling the project's week.
  • Daily Total — the closing row, totalling each day, with the week's grand total in the corner.

Filters and actions

The chevrons either side of the week move a week back or forward and This Week returns to the current one. Two selectors narrow the grid: one for a single project, one for a single team member. List View switches to the itemised time log and Log Time adds an entry. There is no reset, no status or billable filter, and no export.
