What this screen is for
This is about planned servicing rather than repairs already under way. Maintenance schedules carry a next due date, and the register's Due Maintenance tile counts the active schedules falling due within the next seven days. The asset dashboard lists the upcoming items themselves, naming each asset, the maintenance title and its due date, and marking anything already overdue.
When to use it
Check it weekly so servicing is booked before it lapses, and use it to plan around equipment that will be unavailable while it is being worked on.
What you see on this screen
The menu link narrows the register to assets with an active maintenance schedule due within the next seven days, and the Due Maintenance tile counts the same set.
The columns are the register's own: Asset, Category, Status, Assigned To and Value. Beneath the table, the Upcoming Maintenance panel widens the window to thirty days, naming the job, the asset and either its due date or OVERDUE. The asset dashboard shows the same list with the estimated cost of each job.
Filters and actions
Show Filters narrows what is left by category or status, or searches by name, asset number or serial number. Reset drops the due-maintenance condition as well and returns the whole register.
Note what the seven days do and do not cover. A schedule whose date has already passed still counts, so the list mixes what is coming up with what has been missed; the Upcoming Maintenance panel is where the two are told apart, by the word OVERDUE against a job rather than a date. An asset can also appear here while its status still reads available or assigned, because a schedule falling due is a plan, not a state — the status only changes to under maintenance once the work actually begins.
