Bill-wise Profit

What each bill sold for, what its goods cost, and the profit left over — margin at the level of the individual invoice.

What this screen is for

Revenue alone does not tell you which sales were worth making. This report sets each invoice's selling value against the cost of the goods on it and shows what remained.

When to use it

When a month's sales look healthy but the profit does not, this is where the answer usually is: a few large invoices sold at thin or negative margin. Reading it per bill shows which ones, rather than leaving you with a single blended figure.
