What this screen is for
A nurture sequence is a set of follow-up steps that run automatically once a lead is enrolled. The table lists each sequence with its description, what triggers it (or Manual where it is started by hand), how many steps it contains, how many leads are currently active in it, and whether it is running or paused. Sequences can be paused and restarted from the row without being deleted.
Where emails have gone out, engagement figures sit above the table: how many were sent, opened and clicked, and the resulting open rate.
When to use it
Build a sequence when the same follow-up is repeated by hand for every new enquiry. Pause one before editing it so enrolled leads do not receive half-finished steps. Deleting a sequence stops all of its enrolments.
What you see on this screen
- Sequence — the name, with its description beneath.
- Trigger — the event that enrols a lead, or Manual where it is started by hand.
- Steps — how many steps the sequence contains.
- Active — how many leads are currently working through it.
- Status — Active or Paused.
- Actions — pause or activate, edit, and delete.
Where emails have gone out, four figures appear above the table: Emails Sent, Opened, Clicked and Open Rate. They cover all sequence email, not one sequence, and the block is hidden entirely until something has been sent.
Filters and actions
There are no filters, no search and no sort here; the list is short by design. New Sequence creates one, and the pause button on a row stops it without losing the leads enrolled in it.
Status values
- Active — running: enrolled leads move through the steps.
- Paused — halted. Enrolments stay where they are and pick up again when you activate it, which is what makes pausing the safe way to edit a live sequence.
Deleting a sequence stops every enrolment in it, and that cannot be undone.
