Profile Changes

A review queue for edits your staff have made to their own profiles. Approve or reject each one, with a note, before it goes live.

What this screen is for

Staff can edit their own profile details. This screen is where those edits wait for a decision. Each entry shows who submitted it and when, and pending ones carry approve and reject buttons; a rejection can be sent back with a note. Tabs separate pending, approved and rejected changes, and a counter in the header shows how many are awaiting review.

The switch that governs the queue sits on the same page. With it on, edits are held here until you approve them. With it off, edits apply immediately, including on your public booking site.

When to use it

Check it whenever the pending counter is not zero, particularly if staff details appear publicly. If nobody reviews the queue, held changes never take effect.

What you see on this screen

At the top sits the panel headed Check profile changes before they go live, with the switch that turns reviewing on or off and a line saying which way it is currently set. Beside the page title, a badge reads how many changes are awaiting review.

Each request is a card. Its header carries the employee's name — a link to their record — their employee code, and when the change was submitted. Inside, the proposed edits are listed in a small table:

  • Field — which detail the person wants changed.
  • Was — the value held now. If the office has changed the same field since the request was made, an amber line names the current value and warns that approving will skip that field.
  • Wants — the value the person has asked for.

Where a photo is involved, the current and proposed pictures are shown side by side, labelled Now and Proposed, or Removed if the person is asking to take their photo down. A rejection note, once given, is shown under Note.

Filters and actions

  • Awaiting review, Approved, Rejected — three tabs that switch which requests are listed.
  • Approve — applies the change, on pending requests only.
  • Reject — opens a box asking why. The reason is required, and the person sees it on their own profile.
  • The switch in the top panel — hold future edits for approval, or let them apply immediately.

Status values

  • Awaiting review — submitted, waiting on a decision.
  • Approved — accepted, and applied to the employee record.
  • Rejected — turned down, with the reason recorded against it.
