What this screen is for
One day, every rep, on a single page: the beat worked, visits made, orders taken, the value booked, the money collected, new outlets opened, the first and last activity of the day, and the target it is all measured against. You step backwards and forwards a day at a time.
When to use it
This is the morning review of yesterday. It answers the two questions a sales manager asks daily — was the ground covered, and did covering it produce orders and cash — without having to open each rep's visit log separately and add up the answer by hand.
What you see on this screen
Five cards summarise the day: Reps, Visits made (shown as made against planned), Orders, Value booked and Collected.
The table gives one row per rep:
- Salesperson — the rep.
- Beat — the route they were working that day.
- Visits — calls made.
- Orders — orders taken.
- Value booked — what those orders came to. This is order value, not money in.
- Collected — cash and payments actually received. Read beside Value booked, the pair separates a good selling day from a good collecting day.
- New outlets — shops opened for the first time that day.
- First / last — when the rep started and finished.
- Target — the target the day is measured against, from the Targets screen. Where none was set, the work is still reported but there is no bar against it.
Filters and actions
The header holds a date box with arrows either side to step back and forward a day at a time, and a Print button that produces the day's sheet.
A Show every employee tick above the table widens it beyond the reps who were active, which is how you find someone who recorded nothing at all — a blank row being the point rather than an omission.
