What this screen is for
A usage bar shows how much of your quota is consumed, with the used and total figures, the number of files and the database size beside it, and chips summarising usage by file type. A warning appears when you are approaching the limit. Below, a file browser with breadcrumbs lets you move through the stored files.
When to use it
Check this when uploads start failing or when the warning appears, and use the type breakdown to see what is taking the space. The quota is a company-wide limit, so it is shared with everyone else working in the same company, not held per person.
What you see on this screen
Storage Usage heads the page with a bar showing the space used against the quota, the number of files, and the database size. Chips beside it break the usage down by what the files are: invoices, attachments, exports, backups, images, documents and other. A Storage Warning banner appears above all of this once you are close to the limit, naming the percentage used.
Below is the file browser. Breadcrumbs start at Root and show where you are, with a line counting the folders and files in the current view. The table has five columns: Name, Type, Size, Modified and Actions. A folder row shows how many items it contains rather than a size.
An empty folder says so plainly rather than looking broken.
Filters and actions
There are no filters or search. Clicking a folder moves into it; the breadcrumbs and a Back link move out. Each file offers View and Download. Deleting files is what reclaims quota, and because the quota is shared it is worth agreeing with colleagues before clearing anything you did not upload.
Status values
Files are classified by type - Invoice, Attachment, Export, Backup, Image, Document and Other - and that classification is what the usage chips count. Backups in particular can account for a large share, and they are managed from their own screen rather than here.
