What this screen is for
This tracks referrals and the rewards they earn. Four tiles count the total referrals, and how many are pending, qualified and rewarded. The table lists the referrer and their email, the person referred with their contact details, the referral code used, the status, and the date it was submitted. Statuses run through pending, registered, qualified, rewarded and expired.
A referral that is still pending or registered can be qualified from its row, which is the step that makes it eligible for a reward. Referrals can also be entered by hand when one arrives outside the system.
When to use it
Use it to work through new referrals, to confirm which have earned a reward, and to answer a referrer asking what happened to the person they sent you.
What you see on this screen
Four tiles head the page: Total, Pending, Qualified and Rewarded.
- Referrer — the person who made the referral, with their email.
- Referee — the person referred, with their email or phone.
- Code — the referral code used.
- Status — how far the referral has got.
- Date — when it was submitted.
- Actions — a Qualify button, shown only while the referral is pending or registered.
Filters and actions
A search over the referred person's name and email and the referrer's name, a Status list offering All, Pending, Registered, Qualified, Rewarded and Expired, and Reset. New Referral records one that arrived outside the system, taking a referral code — picked from the codes already issued or typed in by hand — and the referee's name, email and phone.
Qualify asks for confirmation, then marks the referral qualified and issues the rewards the program calls for.
Status values
- pending — submitted, not yet assessed. Every new referral starts here.
- registered — the referred person has signed up.
- qualified — accepted as genuine and eligible.
- rewarded — the reward has been issued. Qualifying a referral usually lands it straight here.
- expired — it ran out of time.
