Email Logs

A record of the emails this company has sent, with counts for total, handed to the mailer, still queued and metered cost. It reports what was sent, not what was delivered.

What this screen is for

The cards count messages over the same filtered set as the list below, so the two cannot disagree, and include the metered cost. You can filter by status, by category, by what the email was about, and by address or subject in a single box - which is how you answer questions like which emails went out about a particular booking.

Why it matters

The page states its own limit prominently: it shows what was handed to the mail service, not what arrived. No bounce, rejection or spam filing is reported here, because no delivery callback is wired up. Treat a sent row as evidence the message left, not as proof the recipient received it.

What you see on this screen

Four counters: Total, Handed to the mailer, Still queued and Metered cost. A banner beneath repeats the caveat in as many words - this page shows what was sent, not what was delivered.

The table has six columns: Subject, To, About, Status, Sent and Actions. The About column names the record the email concerned, which is what lets you trace every message sent about one booking or one invoice.

Opening a row shows the full detail: Subject, To, From, Category, Status, Sent, the Mailer used, a link through to the record it was about and to the customer, and the Message ID - which the panel says to quote if you need the mail provider to trace what happened, since this app is not told whether the message was accepted, bounced or filed as spam.

Filters and actions

Show Filters reveals Status, Category, About (the kind of record it concerned), Address or subject as a single search box, and From date and To date, with Clear filters. Refresh re-reads the list. There is no export here.

Status values

Sent - handed to the mail service successfully. Queued - accepted here, not yet handed over. Failed - it was never handed over at all. Categories cover Booking, Sign-in, Invoice, Reminder and Other.
