What this screen is for
This is everything your company has published as training material. Each entry shows its title, description, category, type and size, with a link to open it. Filter by category or by file type (PDF, document, video, image, external link) and search by title to find what you need. External links point at resources hosted elsewhere, such as a video.
When to use it
Use it when you want to look something up rather than work through an assigned course, or to browse what is available. Material assigned specifically to you appears on My Learning instead.
What you see on this screen
The screen is headed Education Materials, subtitled "Learning resources & study materials", and can be shown as a grid of cards or as a list.
As a grid, each card carries a file-type icon, the title, a type badge, the category, the description, and View and Download buttons.
As a list, the columns are Title, Category, Type, Size and Actions.
Where nothing matches, the page reads "No materials found."
Filters and actions
A search box matches on the title. Show Filters reveals Category, defaulting to All Categories, and File Type, defaulting to All Types and offering PDF, Video, Image, Document and External Link; Reset clears both. Two small icons switch between the grid and list layouts.
View opens an item, and Download saves a copy. Upload Material appears only if you are allowed to add to the library.
Status values
There is no status on a library item. The Type badge shows how the material is stored: pdf, document, spreadsheet, presentation, video, image, audio, link for an external resource, or other. Note that the File Type filter only offers five of these, so a spreadsheet, presentation or audio file is findable by search but not by that filter.
