What this screen is for
This screen takes one student and shows their assessment history as a shape rather than a list. Choose the student from the dropdown, and you get the number of assessments recorded, their latest rating, whether they have been marked test-ready, a chart of rating over time, and a breakdown by skill category showing where they are strong and where they are not.
When to use it
Use it before a test decision, in a review with the student, or when handing a student between instructors. If nothing shows, no assessments have been recorded for that student yet.
What you see on this screen
A Select Student dropdown sits at the top; nothing below it appears until you have chosen someone.
Three tiles: Total Assessments, Latest Rating shown out of five, and Test Ready, which reads Yes or Not Yet.
Rating Over Time plots one bar per assessment, each labelled with its rating and the date it was recorded, so you can see whether the trend is upward.
Skill Category Breakdown shows a bar per category with the score against the maximum available, which is where a weakness in one area shows up even when the overall rating looks fine.
Before you pick a student, the page reads "Select a student to view progress". Where a student has no assessments, it says so and offers to record the first one.
Filters and actions
The student selector is the only control: everything on the page is scoped to whoever is chosen. There is no date range, so the charts always cover the student's whole history. Record First Assessment appears on the empty state for users allowed to record one.
