Sprints

The list of sprints across your projects, each with its goal, status, the count of stories and tasks it holds, and its start and end dates.

What this screen is for

A sprint is a fixed working cycle with a start date, an end date and a goal. This table lists them across all projects: the sprint name with its goal beneath, the project, the status, how many user stories and how many tasks it contains, and the dates it runs between. Filters narrow the list to one project or one status.

Opening a sprint shows its detail; the row actions edit or delete it.

When to use it

Use it to open the sprint you are planning or reviewing, and to check at a glance whether a sprint has dates set — the burndown chart needs both a start and an end date to draw.

What you see on this screen

  • Sprint — the sprint name, with its goal on the line beneath.
  • Project — which project it belongs to.
  • Status — where the sprint has got to.
  • Stories — how many user stories it holds.
  • Tasks — how many work items it holds.
  • Timeline — the start and end dates, or No dates where they have not been set.
  • Actions — edit and delete.

Clicking a row opens the sprint itself.

Filters and actions

The Filters button reveals a project list, a status list and a Reset. New Sprint creates one. Deleting shows the sprint, its project and how many tasks it holds before you confirm.

Status values

Sprint statuses are defined by your company under Status Management. A new sprint starts at planning, and active is the status the system treats as the one currently running. The timeline is the field to watch: the burndown chart needs both a start and an end date before it can draw.
