What this screen is for
This is the working view of the schedule. Day view lays instructors out as columns against a timeline, week view shows the seven days, and month view gives the wider shape. You move backwards and forwards with the arrows, return to the current date with Today, and narrow to a single instructor with the selector in the header. Meetings, calls and tasks can each be layered on or off above the grid, with a count of how many fall in the range shown.
When to use it
Use it for the everyday questions of scheduling — who is free, what a day looks like, where a new appointment will fit. New bookings and activities are created from the header, and the list view is a click away when you would rather read the same information as rows.
What you see on this screen
The navigation bar gives arrows either side of the period you are looking at, a day / week / month switch and Today. Beneath it, a Show row toggles three activity layers — Meetings, Calls and Tasks — with a count of how many activities fall in the range on screen.
In day view each bookable instructor is a column against a time axis, with an Activities column at the end; in week view the seven days are the columns. A booking block names the customer and the lesson and is coloured by status. Month view gives each date its bookings, with a more link where there are too many to show.
The legend below the grid names the colours: Pending, Confirmed, In Progress, Completed and No-show for lessons, and Meeting, Call and Task for activities.
Filters and actions
The instructor selector in the header narrows the whole calendar to one person. List View opens the same bookings as a filterable list, Activity creates a meeting, call or task, and New Booking creates an appointment.
In day and week view an active lesson can be dragged to reschedule it; dropping it into another instructor's column reassigns it as well. A confirmation names the old and new date and time and any change of instructor. Where the move is not available — the instructor already has a lesson then, has blocked that day or those hours off, is outside their working hours or does not work that day — it says which, and going ahead anyway is recorded against your name. Clicking a booking opens its summary with the time, duration and fee and a link to the full record.
