Laabam Connect

Laabam Connect Privacy Policy

What the Laabam Connect app collects, why, and what it never touches.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

In short

  • The app records your work calls to leads in your business's Laabam One CRM: who you called, when, for how long, and the outcome you enter.
  • On Android, if you allow it, the app reads the call log entry for a call you placed from the app, and takes only its length. It never reads your call history.
  • On iPhone the app asks for no permissions at all.
  • No contacts, no microphone or call recording, no location, no ads, no tracking, no analytics.
  • You can delete your account from inside the app.

1. About this policy

This policy covers the Laabam Connect app (“the app”) for iPhone and Android. The app signs you in to Laabam One, so it adds to the Laabam One Privacy Policy, which covers the platform itself. Where this policy is more specific about the app, it applies. The Laabam Connect Terms of Use apply too.

2. Who is responsible

The app is provided by LaabamOne Business Solutions Pvt Ltd (“Laabam”, “we”), Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The business that gave you your account (“your business”) decides which leads you work on and what its CRM records about them. We hold that information for your business and use it only to provide the service to it.

3. What the app collects

Signing in

  • The email address and password you type, sent to Laabam One to sign you in. Your password is not stored on your phone.
  • On iPhone, if you choose to sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft: that provider tells us your email address and, the first time with Apple, your name. We use this only to find your existing account. It never creates one.
  • A device name, made of the app's name and your phone's operating system and version, so you can recognise this sign-in in your account's list of active sessions.

Your work calls

When you call a lead from the app, it records in your business’s CRM:

  • which lead you called and the number you dialled;
  • when the call started and ended, and how long it lasted;
  • whether that length came from the call log, from the app's own timer, or was typed in by you;
  • the outcome, reason, note, follow-up date, lead status and expected value that you choose to enter.

When you pick up an open lead, the app assigns it to you in the CRM. The app also shows you the leads, call history and details your business has given you access to, loaded from Laabam One as you use it.

Server records

Like any online service, our servers keep technical records of each request they receive, such as the IP address and the time, to keep the service secure and to fix problems.

4. Call log (Android only)

On Android the app asks for permission to read the call log. It is used for one thing: measuring how long each work call you place from the app lasted, because a timer in the app cannot tell ringing from talking.

  • After a call you placed from the app ends, the app looks up the single call log entry for that call, matched by the number and the time of the call.
  • From that entry it keeps only the length of the call in seconds. That number is what is sent to your business's CRM.
  • It never reads, stores or sends your call history, your other calls, other numbers or contact names.
  • If you say no, the app times the call itself and marks the length as approximate, and you can correct it by hand. Nothing else in the app is withheld.
  • You can withdraw the permission at any time in your phone's settings.

5. iPhone

On iPhone the app asks for no permissions. iOS does not let apps read the call log, so the app times each call itself and marks the length as approximate.

6. What the app never does

  • It does not read your contacts or address book.
  • It does not use the microphone and does not record calls. Calls are made by your phone's own dialler, over your own network.
  • It does not use your location, camera or photos.
  • It shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • It contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools from other companies, and sends no push notifications.
  • We do not sell information from the app or share it for advertising.

7. On your phone

The app keeps your sign-in token, your profile, your app settings and the company you chose in your phone’s secure storage (the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore). Signing out removes your sign-in token and profile from the phone.

8. Who can see it

  • People in your business, according to the access your business gives them in Laabam One. For example, a manager can see the length and outcome of the calls their team makes.
  • Laabam staff, only when needed to support your business, keep the service secure, or meet a legal obligation.
  • The service providers that host and run Laabam One for us, such as our cloud hosting provider, under contract and only to provide the service.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

If you sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft, that provider knows you signed in to Laabam Connect. We do not send it the information you work with in the app.

9. Where it is kept and how it is protected

Information from the app is stored with the rest of your business’s Laabam One data, primarily in data centres in India. It travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The security measures in the Laabam One Privacy Policy apply to it.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. When you confirm:

  • you are signed out on every device at once. This deletes your Laabam One account itself, not only this app, so you will no longer be able to sign in to Laabam One on the web or in any Laabam app;
  • your account and its personal data are deleted within 30 days, and backup copies within 90 days.

Deleting your account does not delete your business’s records. The calls, notes and follow-ups you recorded belong to your business and stay in its CRM unless it deletes them; ask your business’s Laabam One administrator about those. If you own the business and want its Laabam One data deleted as well, the Laabam One Privacy Policy explains how.

You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@laabam.one from the email address you sign in with.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to withdraw a permission you gave, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email privacy@laabam.one. Where a request is about your business’s CRM records, we will pass it to your business, which decides about them.

The app is for business use and is not meant for anyone under 18.

12. Changes

If the app starts collecting something new or using information in a new way, we will update this policy before the change reaches the app, change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
