What this screen is for
Once a request exists, a status banner shows where it has got to, when it was submitted or activated, and a readiness list. Each readiness row is one of the rules that would otherwise refuse a send, so the page cannot promise something the sender would reject. Links take you straight to the registration, sender and template screens that resolve any outstanding item, and to creating a campaign once everything is ready.
Why it matters
SMS is a regulated channel. Activation on its own is not enough: registration, an approved sender and recorded templates all have to be in place, and the page marks items as recorded rather than approved where it holds no evidence from the operator.
What you see on this screen
A status banner names where the request stands and when it was submitted or activated. Under it the readiness list checks four things, each marked ready, needs attention or blocked: SMS activation, DLT registration, Sender IDs and DLT templates. Where anything is outstanding the page says so plainly - resolve the items above before sending, or messages will be rejected by the operator - and links to the screen that fixes each one.
An Activity Timeline records what has happened to the request and who did it. Request Details repeats what you submitted: Business Category, SMS Type, Requested Sender IDs, Estimated Monthly Volume, GST Number, Website and Use Case. Uploaded Documents lists the evidence supplied, and further documents can be added while the request is open.
Where no request exists yet, the form asks for Business Information (GST Number, PAN Number, Business Category, Website URL), three Sender IDs choices of six characters each with at least two required in case the first is taken, SMS Configuration (SMS Type of Transactional Only, Promotional Only or Both, Estimated Monthly Volume, and a Use Case Description), and at least one sample template.
A requirements panel states what India expects: a valid GST certificate or PAN, authorised six-character sender IDs, DLT registration done on your behalf, and three to five business days.
Filters and actions
There are no filters. The links out lead to DLT registration, Sender IDs, DLT templates and, once ready, Create SMS campaign. Documents can be uploaded against a type of PAN Card, GST Certificate, Company Letterhead, Aadhaar Card, Passport or Other.
Status values
Pending Review, Under Review, Information Requested, DLT Processing, Active, Rejected and Suspended. Only Active means you can send.
