Transfers

A record of employees moving between locations, with the transfer date and its approval status.

What this screen is for

This screen keeps the history of transfers. Each entry names the employee and their code, the transfer date, the location moved from and the one moved to, and the status — pending, approved or rejected. The list can be searched and filtered by status, and new transfers are added from here.

When to use it

Record a transfer when someone changes site or branch, so there is a dated record of when the move took effect rather than only a changed field on their profile. Filter to pending to see which moves are still awaiting a decision.

What you see on this screen

  • Employee — the person's name, with their employee code beneath it.
  • Date — the date the transfer takes effect.
  • From — the location they moved from.
  • To — the location they moved to.
  • Status — Pending, Approved or Rejected.
  • Actions — delete, which asks for confirmation and names the person.

Where nothing matches, the table is replaced by a short "no transfers found" message.

Filters and actions

  • Search — a box above the table; the list narrows as you type.
  • Status — All, Pending, Approved or Rejected.
  • Add Transfer — creates a new record.

Status values

  • Pending — recorded but not yet decided.
  • Approved — accepted.
  • Rejected — turned down.

Related
