What this screen is for
Each location has a name and optional code, a type of test centre, pickup point, office or other, and an address. The list can be filtered by search, type and status, and sorted by any column. A column shows how many staff are assigned to each location, with their avatars.
When to use it
Add a location before you start scheduling work or assigning staff to it, and mark one inactive rather than deleting it when you stop using it, so historic records still make sense. Because locations are chosen elsewhere in the app, removing one that is already in use can leave earlier records pointing at nothing.
What you see on this screen
The table has six columns, all of them sortable except the last. Name shows the location name with its code underneath. Type is a coloured pill. City shows the city and state together, or a dash where none is recorded. Instructors shows the staff assigned as a stack of avatars with a count; hovering opens a card listing them by name, which you can click through to the person record. Status says whether the location is in use. Actions holds view, edit and delete.
With no locations yet, the page invites you to add test centres, pickup points or office locations.
Filters and actions
Show Filters reveals four controls: a Search box matching name, city or code; a Type filter offering All Types, Test Center, Pickup Point, Office and Other; a Status filter offering All, Active and Inactive; and a Reset button. Add Location creates a new one.
Deleting asks you to confirm, and names how many staff are currently assigned - they are unlinked from the location rather than removed.
Status values
Active - the location is offered wherever a location is chosen. Inactive - it is kept for history but no longer offered.
