What this screen is for
This is the visual form of the application pipeline. Each stage is a column, coloured as the stage is defined and headed with a count, and each application is a card showing the candidate's name, the application number, the job opening, the source and any rating given. Dragging a card into another column moves that application to that stage.
A selector at the top narrows the board to one job opening, and a link switches back to the list view.
When to use it
During active screening, when you are moving candidates along one at a time and want to see where the pipeline is bunching up. For acting on many candidates at once, the list view's bulk actions are better suited.
What you see on this screen
One column per stage, in the order set on the Stages screen, each with a coloured bar along its top in the stage's own colour. The column header carries the stage name and a count of the applications in it.
Each card inside a column shows:
- The candidate's first and last name.
- The application number, underneath.
- The job opening, where the application is tied to one.
- The source, as a small tag along the bottom left.
- The rating, as stars along the bottom right, where one has been given.
Clicking a card opens the application; dragging it into another column moves it to that stage.
Filters and actions
- The selector in the header narrows the board to one job opening, or All Job Openings.
- List View — the same applications as a filterable, exportable table.
- Dragging a card is the only editing action on this screen; everything else happens on the application itself.
