Notices & Orders

Lists the notices and orders issued to your GSTIN on the GST portal, with counts of what is still pending and what is closed, filters by status, and the full detail of any single notice.

What this screen is for

This screen brings the notices and orders raised against your registration into the app so they are not missed. Cards show total notices, how many are pending or active, and how many are closed or disposed. The list carries the notice ID, type and section, subject, date issued, due date and status, and can be searched by ID, type or section and filtered by status. Opening a notice shows every field and attachment table the portal returns.

When to use it

Check it regularly rather than only when something is expected: a notice with a due date is a deadline whether or not anyone has seen it. Authentication with the GST portal is required before the list can be fetched.

What you see on this screen

The header reads GST Notices & Orders, subtitled "View and track notices from the GST portal".

Three cards: Total Notices, Pending / Active and Closed / Disposed.

The list has these columns:

  • Notice ID — the portal's reference for the notice
  • Type / Section — what kind of notice it is and the section it is issued under
  • Subject — the notice heading
  • Date Issued
  • Due Date — where the notice carries one
  • Status
  • ActionsView opens Notice Details, showing every field and attachment table the portal returns, including tax periods and amounts

A note on the page explains that the portal's programmatic interface covers departmental notices such as assessment, adjudication, audit and recovery, and that system-generated notices are not available through it and have to be checked on the portal itself; the page names the portal menu to look under.

Filters and actions

Fetch Notices pulls the list from the portal, scanning several time periods as it goes. Show Filters reveals a Search box covering ID, type and section, and a Status filter whose default is All Statuses, with Reset to clear both. Refresh re-reads the list, and Back to List returns from a detail view. An open GST portal session is required; Authenticate via OTP opens one.

Status values

The cards group notices as Pending / Active or Closed / Disposed. The Status column and the Status filter show the status values the portal itself returns for your registration, so the exact wording follows the portal rather than the app.
