What this screen is for
Reminder types are grouped, and each shows a switch, a one-line description and a plain summary of its current schedule. Expanding one lets you pick the channels it goes over and the frequency: every day, every few days, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, with a day of the week or day of the month where that applies. Types that go to your own team rather than to a customer are labelled as such. Totals for sent this month, sent in total and failed sit at the top.
Why it matters
Anything switched on here sends by itself on a schedule. Choosing a frequent schedule on a type that reaches customers means they hear from you that often, so the summary line is worth reading back before you leave the page.
What you see on this screen
Three counters head the page: Sent this month, Sent in total and Failed.
The reminder types are grouped by what they are about. Under Customers sit Statement of account (each customer own statement - opening balance, what was invoiced, what was received and what is left) and Outstanding balance (chasing customers past their due date with the total and the oldest overdue invoice). Under Purchases is What we owe suppliers, a summary of overdue supplier bills sent to your own team. Under Inventory is Running out of stock, telling your team which products have fallen to or below their reorder level. Under Projects is Work falling due, reminding the person a task is assigned to before and after its due date. Anything that goes to your own people is tagged goes to your team.
Expanding a type reveals Send over (the channels it may use - Email, WhatsApp, SMS, depending on the type), How often (Every day, Every N days, Weekly, Every 14 days, Monthly), with Every how many days, On a weekday, Day of the month (up to the 28th, so a short month is never skipped) or Counting from a date as the frequency requires, and At a time in your company local time. Options peculiar to that reminder follow - how many months a statement covers, whether to attach a PDF, a minimum balance, how many days overdue, who to send an internal summary to. Finally A note to include and Replies go to.
Filters and actions
There are no filters. Each type saves on its own, so switching on a stock alert never re-saves someone else schedule. Recently sent at the foot lists what actually went out, with columns for Sent, Reminder, About, To, Via and Status.
Status values
A history row reads Sent, or shows the failure state with the error on hover.
