What this screen is for
Where customers buy lessons in blocks, this screen tracks what is left. Each row shows the package number, the customer, the product, the hours remaining against the hours bought, the expiry date and the status. The bar in the hours column separates what has actually been taught from what is merely booked and from what is still free, because those are different answers to how much is left. Counts of active, exhausted and expired packages sit above.
When to use it
Check it before booking further lessons for a customer, when a package is nearing expiry, and when a customer asks what they have remaining. Packages are created automatically rather than added here.
What you see on this screen
Three cards: Active, Exhausted and Expired. The table carries:
- Package # — the package number
- Customer — who bought it
- Package — the product it was sold as
- Hours remaining — the hours left against the hours bought, with the number of sessions and the length of each in brackets, then a bar split three ways and read out beneath as taught, booked and to book
- Expires — the expiry date, or No expiry
- Status — active, exhausted, expired or cancelled
- A view button opens the package
The three-way split matters: hours already taught and hours merely held on the calendar are both spent as far as the remaining figure goes, but only the third number tells you how much is still free to schedule.
Filters and actions
Search package # or customer narrows the list, and a status filter offers All statuses, Active, Exhausted, Expired and Cancelled. There is no create button — a package is created automatically when an invoice containing a package product is paid, which is what the empty state says.
Status values
- Active — hours remain and the package can still be drawn on
- Exhausted — every hour has been used
- Expired — the expiry date has passed, whether or not hours remain
- Cancelled — withdrawn
